Today it was good to see old friends and hear them exclaim about the beauty surrounding us. As we go about our daily routines, we don't often pause and reflect on our surroundings. It was nice to hear someone else appreciate the mountains in the distance and it made me stop and look around. As I was looking, I realized what a green thumb my mom has and that prompted me to take the picture of her Clematis. Curiosity got the best of me again and I went to Wikipedia to learn about Clematis. Should you be interested too, the link is below the picture. “You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.” ― Henry David Thoreau |
