For the third time I have alerted Adam to the dangers lurking outside the RV in the middle of the night. The "alert" method I use is to say his name five times in a matter of two seconds, while poking his shoulder. Always on watch, Adam jumps up from a deep sleep and goes to check out the cause of my alarm. As he looks outside and searches for the cause of my alarm, he discovers what really caused the panic. One time, I dreamed I heard our door opening and it was like it really happened. Last night, I was sure I heard 3 distinct knocks on the window beside our bed. I quickly used the "alert" method to send Adam on the search for the danger that I am certain is lurking outside. In the meantime Dexter left his bedside crate and is making desperate leaps to get on the bed with me. I knew this time there was true danger out there because even Dexter agreed with me. Adam, being ever diligent, discovers the Vicks bottle on the floor. It did, indeed, knock 3 times when it hit the wall, Dexter's crate (the reason for Dexter's concern) and then the floor. Yep...knock 3 times.

I think your dad came in to use your Vicks (because we know how he loves his Vicks and his was probably all gone). And then scooted out after he missed sitting it back where it belonged before you were awake enough to figure out what was going on!
